‘Single Vineyard’ Pinot Noir harvested from the clay/limestone slopes of the ‘Chalky’ vineyard in New Zealand’s Waipara Valley. This close-planted, low yielding, hillside vineyard is unirrigated. 

Extended maceration on skins, hand plunging, small batches, eighteen months ageing in barrels, bottled unfined and unfiltered, hand labelled, with no compromise on quality.

Flavours

Garnet/damson colour with aromas of blackberry, brambles, and blueberry. The palate is elegant and vibrant, with toasty oak, rich tannins and undertones of dark chocolate and dark berries. A beautiful expression of Waipara Valley Pinot Noir.
